Calsoft was engaged with the client to create a Splunk Plugin that would discover & configure the NSX components to forward the syslogs to Splunk listener, and analyze the logs to create useful dashboards & widgets.
The engagement primarily involved creating a plugin that could:
Provide a configuration page to admin
Discover and configure the syslog settings in NSX components
Analyze the logs being received from all NSX components to create meaningful dashboards & widgets for the administrators
