Calsoft plans to double its workforce in coming few quarters and offer multiple internship opportunities via colleges and universities.
February 20, 2023 – San Jose, California: Calsoft, a leading IT company in data center technology, cloud computing, networking domains, and digital product engineering, officially launched its fifth development center in Indore, a city that is rapidly establishing its identity in the country.
In keeping with the times, Calsoft is excited about expanding its Product Engineering services portfolio to better serve global customer demands. Calsoft has seen a steady growth rate over the last 5 years and is also the preferred digital product engineering services partner to ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) in the Storage, Networking, Virtualization, Cloud, IoT, Telecom, and Analytics domains.
During an elaborate media interaction, Parag Kulkarni, COO of Calsoft said – “To maintain the leadership status in digital products and engineering services globally, Calsoft has chosen the heart of the country – Indore. Our 24 years of experience in innovating software products has given us a distinct identity among smart engineers and innovative developers and has enabled us to expand our reach. “
Atul Purohit, Senior VP, and Indore center head added, “This expansion is a major step forward in preparing Calsoft for the future. By partnering with leaders in the storage, Datacenter technology, and networking domains, the company can innovate in these areas. Additionally, the company will tap Indore’s talent and bring in more youth to work on these projects, which will allow them to work with some of the world’s biggest product and platform companies.”
Calsoft now with Indore has development centers across India in Pune, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, and has grown its human strength to around 1500 professionals. With its new location, the company hopes to increase its capabilities and help more businesses undergo digital transformation in the fields of storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, IoT, security, and analytics.
In the upcoming quarters, Calsoft plans to build a workforce of 200 specialists and Software engineers in Indore. The company is eager to offer internships to around 50 selected students to provide hands-on exposure to prepare future professionals.
The chief guest of the inaugural function was Padma Shri Dr. Deepak B. Phatak, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIT Indore and Professor Emeritus, IIT Bombay, and the guest of honor was Dr. PK Chande, Chairman, CS Mind, and former Director of SGSITS, Indore MANIT, Bhopal.
