Endpoint Security Agent for Solaris and AIX

Client: Enterprise-grade workload isolation firm (Global) | Solution: Security agent extends control to Unix platforms

Limited policy enforcement on legacy Unix

Solaris and AIX systems lacked real-time visibility and policy control. The client’s existing micro-segmentation agent worked well on modern OSs but couldn’t reliably enforce rules or capture runtime telemetry on legacy Unix nodes. Fragmented IPC behavior and kernel-level inconsistencies also caused frequent deployment and support issues.

Solution

Calsoft partnered with the client to engineer an endpoint security agent purpose-built for Unix-tier systems. It integrated seamlessly into the client’s zero-trust framework while preserving enforcement logic across non-Linux platforms.

  • Added kernel-aligned hooks for reliable enforcement
  • Built unified controller for consistent policy lifecycle
  • Created visibility interface for live process telemetry
  • Designed adaptive patch and packaging routines

These upgrades helped unify runtime behavior and improved visibility across all environments.
