The Challenge -
Accept was already working with an Indian outsourcing vendor with the “pyramid” team structure. They were facing challenges such as lower skilled resources compared to costs and the management costs of getting productivity from a low skilled and low experienced team.  Large number of resources with lower experience, skill and quality was dragging our customer’s delivery efficacy and they were incurring management costs of getting productivity from a low skilled and low experienced team. There was no way for our customer to get experienced, skilled and quality resources they requested because the provider’s organization structure did not allow that. In addition, the provider was not paying sufficient attention to their requirements. 

The Solutions - 
After an extensive evaluation of multiple vendors, Calsoft was chosen as a preferred partner due to our proven track record in implementing new product development, flexibility to cater to Accept’s requirements, transparent costs and higher experience and skill levels.

Calsoft started the engagement by providing its best resources immediately after the project kick off. We hired quality resources specifically to meet our customer’s requirements and helped them in setting up and run their India Development Center. 

The major gains for our customer by partnering with Calsoft were detailed attention to their requirements, management oversight of the project, and flexibility to choose their own resources. As a result of which now they have highly skilled and experienced team with an average work experience of 7 years at almost the same cost. Working together with Calsoft they provided definite technological and management career path for every team member. This helped them significantly reduce the attrition. At the project level we provided continuous updates and took their feedback at every stage of product development. 

Apart from other benefits, we provided a flexible network setup and infrastructure to our customer. We provided resources who have worked on automation framework using JMETER, JUNIT; who have worked on “Ruby on Rails”. We also hired resources who have worked on technologies like Web2.0 (AJAX), J2EE, Core-Java, JSF, Hibernate, Spring framework, ETL, Databases (Oracle 10/11g) and JIRA for defect tracking.

We are using Agile-scrum methodology for maintaining a process and to guarantee completion of the projects with aggressive deadlines.
